Concerto Copenhagen meets MGK* students in an exciting project that culminates in a joint concert!
Every year, Concerto Copenhagen, led by Peter Spissky, holds an intensive workshop with classical music students from MGK, focusing on the special playing techniques and musical expressions that are characteristic of Baroque music. The course concludes with a concert in which students and CoCo musicians perform works by Vivaldi, Handel Rameau.
*MGK stands for Musikalsk Grund Kursus (Basic Music Course) and is a 3- or 4-year intensive training program for talented young musicians who plan to apply for higher education in music.
