BACH RECREATED, BACH RECREATED!
CONCERTO COPENHAGEN CHALLENGES AND EXPANDS OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE GREAT MASTER!
Rarely heard works by Johann Sebastian Bach
Tonight's program features a series of lost, unknown, reworked, or rarely heard concertos by Johann S. Bach. Bach has had the same significance for music as Shakespeare has had for literature and Newton for physics, and much of his music is known to many people throughout the ages. Concerto Copenhagen has put together a program of various reconstructions, arrangements, and interpretations of Bach's music that challenge and expand our understanding of the great master of the Baroque era!
