The Best of Bach
Thüringer Bach Week, Herderkirche
Concerto Copenhagen presents some of Bach’s most beloved music, featuring violinist Fredrik From in the spotlight as they perform the two violin concertos, the two double concertos—with violinist Hannah Tibell and oboist Antoine Torunczyk as soloists—and Orchestral Suite No. 3, which includes the Air, one of Bach’s most iconic movements.
This is far from the first time Concerto Copenhagen has tackled this repertoire. In 2011, the orchestra recorded Bach’s violin concertos with Frederik From, who has served as the orchestra’s concertmaster for over 15 years. The recording has been recognized by the international press as one of the finest performances on period instruments.
MON look forward to experiencing some of classical music’s all-time greatest hits!
