After his childhood dream of becoming a tennis star fell through, Fredrik Bock's passion and interest in music led him to play guitar and lute.

For the past two decades, Bock has played early music on string instruments with several leading baroque ensembles and orchestras in northern Europe, with Concerto Copenhagen and Barokksolistene being his primary ensembles.

Driven by his passion for communicating with fellow musicians and audiences, Bock primarily plays continuo on theorbo, ærkelut and baroque guitar. He also often enjoys playing the small South American folk instrument charango, which he feels fits very well with baroque music.

Fredrik is the proud father of three fantastic girls.
