Young Blood
Workshop project in collaboration with the royal danish academy of music
Concerto Copenhagen is playing together with the next-generation Baroque specialists under the leadership of Lars Ulrik Mortensen and concert master Peter Spissky in this recurring work shop project at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
The project is part of Concerto Copenhagen's strategy towards responsibility for the breeding ground for young musicians in Denmark. The collaboration began in 2012 and has, among others, led to some of the students participating later on in Concerto Copenhagen's own projects and recordings.
The project is also the only possibility one has in Denmark to be coached by Lars Ulrik Mortensen, who besides this only coaches in the EUBO (European Union Baroque Orchestra).
Peter Spissky teaches on a regular basis at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and thus accompanies the students during the whole academic year.
