EAP

EAP – exceptional art projects

We use this expression – coined by Brian Irvine from Dumb World – as a description of the excitingly different projects we as an orchestra initiate and develop. Music as delivered by Concerto Copenhagen is about contemplation and devotion, about the unexpected and being surprised, about feelings and being in the moment.
Exceptional Art Projects are projects that communicate, create dialogue and are participatory by other means than the more traditional concert. It's projects of the highest artistic ambition and skills in combination with a deep rooted belief that we are all born artists; it's just that some of us are more aware of it than others.

Here you will find an overview that will be subject to constant change. There are projects for children, for young people, for older people, for hospitalised people – and for everyone!

FOR THE CHILDREN: PICTURE BOOK and concert

Musician and storyteller Poul Høxbro and writer and illustrator Tea Bendix have created a beautiful and evocative picture book about a little shepherd boy who captivates everyone with his lovely music. With the book comes a CD with baroque music that fits the story. A children's book and CD with authentic French and English Baroque music.
Concerto Copenhagen offers a "storytelling-concert" based on the book. Target audience. 4-8 years old, 1-4 classes at the same time.
